300 days of sunshine!? Omg the people of Boulder must have to spend some sunny days doing all these awesome options too! They must be surprised by the occasional rainy day!
In any case, these all sounds fun! I love the sound of the spa and the museum of natural history… but I do really enjoy escape rooms too!
Good point–people definitely visit on sunny days too. Sometimes you just have to take a break from the sun, or wind or snow too.
Oh, I really enjoyed this list! There are so many museums, and the NCAR sounds so cool! Thanks for sharing this. It’s always good to have backup plans when the weather doesn’t cooperate!
Thanks for the feedback!
Cooking classes look so cozy. I also like the idea to visit one of the local museums as they seem to have extraordinary exhibitions.
A great resource to refer to on those dreaded rainy days. Snowboarding lessons look super cool!
It is such a great way to reinforce what kids are learning on the slopes (or to learn how to snowboard indoors).
It is so pretty outside, I hope I never have to find indoor things to do in Boulder. haha. But NCAR is pretty cool!!
I agree–I started writing this when we were hit with wildfire smoke (I think from Canada). Bad weather days do happen unfortunately.
Haven’t visited Boulder in years. Love that there’s plenty to do, even when the weather doesn’t fully cooperate. Maybe we should plan a visit sometime in the new year….
The weather is usually great, but we definitely have our rainy, windy, snowy days (or occasionally wildfire smoke blows in). Great to have indoor options.
Pretty detailed. Made me want to go to Boulder soon 🙂
Great ideas! The indoor skiing sounds really cool!
It’s great for kids who are learning how to ski, but fun for all.
It’s always great to highlight places like these. They are often overlooked when the weather is nice! So many things to see and learn from. I really want to go to that spa now!!!
The St. Julien spa has a wonderful location (and spa services)!
Definitely good options for an inclement day!!!
Thanks for the feedback!
Great ideas! I’m glad to see you mentioning things to do at the university. Universities often have tons of things for people to do for free or very low cost.
Thanks for the feedback!
