Thanks, it is a beautiful place to visit!
These are all great options that you gave. I like Twin Peaks Lodge and how the Western Hotel looks inside. Thanks for the list
You are so good at finding all the best places to stay! Ouray looks like a fantastic destination and I’m sure I’d be happy staying at any of these…but the two hot spring locations are calling to me the most 😉
Thanks! It’s always fun to stay with hot springs just outside your door.
Knowing where to stay is always tricky, so thank you for this information, especially pointing out lack of elevators and age restrictions. Very helpful!
Thank you for the feedback!
I really enjoy places like the Ouray Hotel, with its historic architecture and boutique vibes! Thanks for sharing this great list! I hope to visit Ouray during the fall season. I loved Switzerland, so seeing the ‘Switzerland of America’ would be amazing
Great, hope you have a chance to visit in Fall, it’s beautiful that time of year.
These all look like great hotel options. Personally, I think I would try The Western. From the outside it looks like something out of an old western movie, but the suites look opulent inside!
After its recent renovations, the Western Hotel would be a great choice!
I’ve never heard of Ouray, Colorado prior to your article. I’d love to visit for the scenic views and magnificent landscape. The hotels that peaked my interest the most are the St. Elmo Hotel and the Beaumont Hotel.
Those are great choices right on Main St.
I love how many cute historic hotels there are here. I love staying at unique places when traveling, especially in small towns and outdoorsy destinations.
There are some chain hotels, but so many cute historic hotels too!
Definitely some great spots on this list. Makes the booking experience so much more pleasant. Thank you for the round-up!

Great!
These all look like great places to stay! But I love the relaxation and adventure combination.
Plenty of relaxation and adventure to be had in Ouray!
I love how Ouray is known as the ‘Switzerland of America’. I can see a resemblance in the mountains.
The mountains are reminiscent of Switzerland, though the environment is quite unique.
These all look amazing in their own right. I would definitely choose either the Ouray Riverside Resort or Hotel Ouray. Nature and history are the two things I love most about travel and being in new places.
Ouray would be a fun place for you to visit!
