2. Best for Western Ambience: Red Cliffs Lodge

The Red Cliffs Lodge offers rustic charm with its cabin-style accommodations, set right along the Colorado River. The ranch features a natural spring and private park, pool and hot tubs, and a coffee shop on site.

6. Best for a Traditional Motel Stay in Town: Rustic Inn

This is a popular campground for experienced climbers, who enjoy the incredible climbing on Fisher Towers. Note that it is an approximately 40 minute drive into downtown Moab and to the entrance to Arches National Park.

With basic amenities like picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets, it’s a great option for those seeking a budget-friendly, off-the-grid stay surrounded by nature. Individual sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Three group sites are reservable through Recreation.gov.
