Winter Park Lodging Tips
- Most lodging is either near the Winter Park Resort or in town (these are about 3 miles apart). There is a free shuttle that runs between the two areas (see more information below). You’ll find restaurants, bars, and activities in both locations, so this is truly a personal preference.
- There are additional lodging options north of Winter Park in Fraser, Tabernash, and Granby, for those looking for more variety or more cost effective options. You can search these below.
- Train noise can be a consideration when staying in Winter Park, as the town is located along a major railway line. Since 2020, the trains no longer sound train horns unless there is a dangerous situation. You may still hear the rumbling of the trains, especially if you are a light sleeper. We do recommend checking reviews carefully, to determine whether this will be an issue for you at the particular property.
